65 questions · States of Matter and Phase Changes × 5, Atomic Structure × 5, Chemical Bonding × 5, Stoichiometry × 5, Energetics × 5, Equilibria × 5, Acid Base Chemistry × 5, Periodic Table and Periodicity × 5, Group Properties and Elements × 5, Environmental Chemistry × 5, Hydrocarbons × 5, Empirical Data Collection and Analysis × 5, Laboratory and Practical Skills × 5

9th class Chemistry starts from states of matter and atomic structure, then builds through chemical bonding and stoichiometry into energetics and equilibria, before turning to acid-base chemistry, the periodic table and the properties of the element groups. The closing chapters cover environmental chemistry, hydrocarbons, handling data and laboratory skills.

Stoichiometry is where most students first come unstuck, because it depends on the mole concept being genuinely understood rather than memorised, and everything after it assumes you did. The explanations show the working for the mole calculations instead of only marking them right or wrong, which is the part a textbook's answer key usually leaves out.

Questions about 9th Class (Matric Part 1) Chemistry

Do the questions cover the mole calculations?

Yes. Stoichiometry has its own chapter, and the calculation questions are explained step by step rather than only marked correct or incorrect.

Does 9th class Chemistry include organic chemistry?

There is one chapter of it — Hydrocarbons. The rest of the course is physical and inorganic chemistry, with organic chemistry developed properly in 10th class and Intermediate.
